A playful, mischievous duo based in Lyon, Guillaume Lespinasse and Louis De La Gorce first emerged in 2014, creating a stir with their quickly sold-out debut 12″, Agorespace, which also marked the start of the BFDM adventure at the time. Blending muscular breaks, trompe l'oeil balearic melodies, soaring dub with a strong weed flavor, and a revamped trancey accent, this first record was already clearly outlining the contours of their records to come. As playful and mischievous as ever, in 2021 the trio released a scathing twelve-track album on BFDM, a mix of synth-pop, digit dub, folk psychedelia, and new age, combining vocals, acoustic instruments, and local music.
